چکیده
Open pit mining is an extensively-used method in Indonesian coal mining. This characterized by the formation of mine void at end life-of-mine (LOM) due to insufficient material backfill mine-out areas. Mine voids are legally accepted as one closure options and categorized “Reklamasi Bentuk Lain” - a miscellaneous reclamation option (Decree Minister Energy Mineral Resources/KepMen ESDM No.1827, 2018), However, unmanageable will exert negative impacts. The identification mapping spatially imperative give stakeholders ample information construct viable management benefit all stakeholders. In this research, Sentinel 2 satellite image data used for land monitoring so that can be mapped based on cover classification. classification was carried out Object-based Image Analysis (OBIA) method. has good level accuracy, ranging from 86.1 96.4%. Based classification, potential analyzed their shape, where have elongation values 0.2-1.0 circularity 0.1-0.8. addition, location they found (referred Mining License Area/WIUP data). 2018 there were 40 inside WIUP 5 outside WIUP, while 2020, 62 8 identified study area. final result void, i.e. void-1 could not further distinguished between sumps, voids, or ponds without additional analysis. On other hand, void-2 assigned natural water bodies illegal activities. Subsequent studies using more elaborated data, processes, analysis important, enhance accuracy images.

Forest’s ecosystem is one of the most important carbon sink of the terrestrial ecosystem. Remote sensing technology provides robust techniques to estimate biomass and solve challenges in forest resource assessment. The present study explored the potential of Sentinel-2 bands to estimate biomass and comparatively analyzed of red-edge band based and broadband derived vegetation indices. Broadband...
متن کاملThe sand dunes migration patterns in Mesr Erg region using satellite imagery analysis and wind data
Understanding the situation, behavior and the nature of sand dunes and also their location, transport and deposition are very important. On the other hand, the importance of sand dunes is due to the impacts that they have on water and soil resources, flora and fauna and human infrastructure. This study, looks at the development patterns of sand dunes in Mesr erg region. In the first part, data ...
متن کاملObject-Based Classification of UltraCamD Imagery for Identification of Tree Species in the Mixed Planted Forest
This study is a contribution to assess the high resolution digital aerial imagery for semi-automatic analysis of tree species identification. To maximize the benefit of such data, the object-based classification was conducted in a mixed forest plantation. Two subsets of an UltraCam D image were geometrically corrected using aero-triangulation method. Some appropriate transformations were perfor...
متن کاملGlobal-scale Object Detection Using Satellite Imagery
In recent years, there has been a substantial increase in the availability of high-resolution commercial satellite imagery, enabling a variety of new remote-sensing applications. One of the main challenges for these applications is the accurate and efficient extraction of semantic information from satellite imagery. In this work, we investigate an important instance of this class of challenges ...
